What's the latest on FI Inlet and Moriches?

The guy with the biggest boat and who happened to be the oldest said to average the coast guard station and the inlet and to add 2 hrs to it . Another guy said to just add 2 hrs to the inlet .

Was hoping perry would jump in

In our old Moriches thread in Sticky, Sal said half hour past Inlet High tide.

Call SeaTow or TowBoat, they seem to have the best info.
Friends went thru and after running aground and calling them, they used them to guide them thru east and west.
Apparently one buoy, Green 17 is way off it's mark.

Ran threw 2 hrs after Coast Guard high tide and it was dead high . Perfect run ... It's almost dead straight except for the western most piece . Small zag was added

Sorry guys, I haven't been thru in quite a few years. Yes, add 2 hrs to Moriches inlet (ocean) for the CG station. Its probably a little less time but its easy to remember.

I'd give that area 1.5 hrs after Moriches Ocean high tide. There's a 15 minute (or so) difference between the Ocean high and the Inlet High.
