What's up with the Tiki Bar at Haverstraw?

No liquor license for the Tiki bar yet. The restaurant still owns the liquor license, but it seems that the town has to issue a special dispensation because the Tiki bar is not considered a permanent structure. Word has it that the restaurant that will be rebuilt will be very similar to the one that burned down. Construction to start in September. Believe that when I see it.
I like it better without the restaurant. Nice and quiet, better parking and no dodging the drunks behind the wheel every Friday & Saturday night, not to mention stepping over the various puke puddles from those who don't know when to stop!
