Aloha Vic. My water heater (electric/engine) makes hot water when I run the starboard engine. The port engine is actually my primary as I use it to run the refrigerator but I would like to be able to make hot water off either engine. Can this be done?
The system is simple, coolant from the engine gets run into a heater loop in the water heater, prior to the heat exchanger. I really don't want to put a tee in the line as losing coolant in one engine will mean both will drain out.
