For those of you who want someplace new to boat to in Sacramento, Scott's Restaurant has opened up and they have docking!

Here is the video from a local news channel:

We have eaten a couple of times at Scott's in Folsom. The food and atmosphere was excellent. I would definitely do a weekend trip up the Sac to eat and stay. The docks look pretty good. I don't think anyone would walk away disappointed.

I think I'll sleep on my boat though. $200-300 per night is a bit steep for my pocketbook!

Flutterby,

I have heard that overnight dock fees there are free if you have dinner at Scotts. If you do not have dinner, the guest docking fee is about 150.00 per night. So the only solutions is to put out the hook about two feet from the dock and then jump. Makes sense to me...

Oh, believe me. If you are that close you definitely have to go in and have dinner. That is pretty cool that dock fees are free. Would that be for overnight as well? Wouldn't want to have to much to drink and drive.

Hey, I don't mind paying $100/person for a great dinner with excellent food and service! It is a matter of priorities. Besides I never sleep as well in a hotel as I do in my boat, at any price!

i hear slips are 16 to 18 foot i crushed by yesterday no boats there yet
looks like theoverhead walkway is not done yet to the restr level to slips
looks like a long guest dock
