I have a 1997 330 Sundancer, with the standard Vacu-Flush head system.

After I flush the head, I hear a "Yelping" sound as the vacume pump operates. About 10 yelps per flush. Sorry, that's the only way to explain this.

It could be the bellows or the duck bill valves, I thought others here may have had a similar issue.

I've had this boat for about a year, and it's always done this, so maybe it's normal, but it seems to be a little loud.

Any idea what is causing this?

Thanks

While i would not call it yelping sound, I know all of ours make a similar sound, if everything is working fine, I would think it is normal... I know our older VF's seemed noiser than newer ones.... and of course it could be time for new duck bills...

Ah ... Now that you mention it, he has been missing for a while.

Starting to sound normal or at least common.

Mine makes the same noise but very faint unless you are in the head or the aft cabin to hear it.

Damn Thompson gunr beat me by 3+ hours.
