I saw on News12 this morning the old Ceviles is being re-opened as "16 Front Street". They had a ribbon cutting but the story said the official opening is Tuesday (The day after Memorial Day weekend).
Can one of you guys from across the river swing by and determine the obvious question...will they have docks?
I tried doing research and couldn't find a phone number or website....here's a blurb from lohud:
The new facility will offer seating for 130 guests, more than double the capacity of Civile's. The interior has been gutted; the wall facing the river was demolished to add an additional room with six-foot windows and a deck.
The owners said they plan to open the restaurant year-round, unlike its predecessor. The menu will be "American casual," serving hamburgers, pasta, chicken and fish.
Mayor Michael Kohut said he and the village's Board of Trustees welcomed the 16 Front Street proposal because they liked the idea of casual dining.
"They want it to be a very inclusive space. Their menu prices will be from $8.95 to $30," Kohut said. "It's going to be the kind of a place where you can go after work to grab a quick bite to eat and to have drinks by the river. It's not something that you have to break the bank."
