I'm refinishing the back of the boat. While sanding down the doors I thought I saw a piece of tape on the glass, pulled it only to find it was a film on the entire window.

Any idea if this was factory?

Can replace the glass, but in time crunch to get the doors back on to uncover the boat and want the doors on when I do. Still have several coats of stain and gloss to go......

Can I peal this all off? Small piece came off easy.

Very good window cleaner and a razor blade has worked for me in the past.

BTW nice boat it was the year and model of my parents first boat and my introduction to boating.

Thanks! Bought it November 2009. Have refinished all the wood but the back which I am sanding down now. I am behind schedule as the weather in central NY has been very wet and cold up until the last week.

The boat is in excellent shape, we hope to restore it as best we can to original condition.

Lot of years and money between this boat and the type of layout and character you get.

After the wood is done on to a few bad spots of fiberglass. Then new upholstery for the flybridge.

The pro's use amonia and a razor blade. Wear gloves and eye protection straight amonia is nasty stuff.
