Have an offer in on a 1982 trojan F32. Everything was going good. The owner excepted my offer, it passed survey, and then the sea trial came. We did not get a mile out and one engine shut down. THe salesman could not get it started and went down below. When I went down they were adding oil to the engine and said it was low. They started it and it mad the worst banging and clanging noise you ever heard. The surveyor said he checked the oil and there was oil in it, but it was dirty. They are saying they are going to fix it, but I am a little nervous about it now. The engines are chyrsler 318 225 hp. They had 500 hours on them. They could not have been taken care of and I am wondering if the other one could go. What would you do?
