Hello to all. Great Forum with lots of activity. I am new and hope to help where I can.
I purchased my 2767 a year ago and have replaced canvas and upholsery and am presently considering upgrades to the interior next. The boat has a hatch air conditioner and I would like to replace it with "central" air and heat. I have the following questions:
1. What size BTU did Carver install and was it adequate?
2. Where did Carver locate the AC unit? Currently, my water heater is under the dinette and I could move it foward under the V-berth, but would also like to put a waste holding tank under the V-berth.
3. How many AC ducts and where were the ducts located?
4. What size ducts - 4 or 6 inch diameter?
I have a Sealand Traveler head (a way too small 5 gallon holding tank located directly below the bowl).
1. What size waste holding tank did Carver use and where was it located?
The boat has twin 6 cylinders (431a) with Volvo Duoprop outdrives. My wide open throttle is around 4800 RPM with Volvo B5 props. My concern is that I need about 3500 RPM to stay on plane, sometimes 3800 RPM depending on wind and waves.(about 22-23 MPH per mt GPS) They are brand new Volvo props. The originals spun the hubs earlier this summer and no one I have found will replace the hubs.
1. Is this the acceptable RPM and plane speed for this boat?
Thanks ahead of time for any and all input or respones.
