So that you have some feedback, I have a 2000 Dancer w/454 & Bravo III. Obviously different vintage than a 91 but performance should be similiar. I've had good experience w/mine except for corrossion on the outdrive the casing of which had to be replaced. Addt'l zincs since added & seems ok now.
Everything I've read on this Forum the last several years applauds the 454/BIII package. Plently of power (310 HP) & gets up on plane easily.
With a 91, try to get as much info. as possible on maintenance. As with any boat approaching 20 yrs. this is cricial. Good luck
