Oh that Forum is for supporters of BE only. See the anchor under an RO's name? You need one of those. Go to the top of the page and click on "Help Support This Forum".

So we have to pay to read a topic that discusses winterizing? I thought supporting the forum with a financial contribution was to be done as a way to show gratitude for what we have learned here, not a prerequisite to reading a topic. This is a great site, but with all the free resources on the internet, is it worth paying money just to read that topic?

Only you can answer that question. I personally have saved much more then $20 each year by heeding the free advise I have received here, so for me the 20 bucks is a "no brainer".

This site has very limited advertising; exclusive specials from Boatfix, but is not supported by Boatfix. Les runs this site using the donations and his own money. He also owns Boatfix. If he has to choose which site to support, it will be Boatfix, not BE.

well...
i guess i was hopeing some boat smart person would tuck me up under his /her wing help learn me how to do this but maybe ill just chill out and look around hopefully somebody can give me a few pointers? thanks panama around central Iowa standing bye..

panama, I was trying to help, but a) I have access and did not realize that it was required, and b) we boat year 'round about here, so I have no clue how to winterize ( other than to fish for Speckled Trout inshore in winter, offshore in summer... )

You could always move south for the winter... :)

Darin, if you don't know much about the topic and learn what to do, then it is worth it.
