2004 Regal 3060 horn not working

Hi! Our 2004 3060 horn quit working. We suspect the air pump. Any advisement as to a) location of the pump and b) other diagnostics would be appreciated. We'd prefer to try and solve this ourselves but naturally will engage service as needed.

On both Regals we owned the pump was located under the helm.

Use a volt meter or test light probe to check for voltage. The switch would be as good as any place to start and probably easiest to locate with the panel removed.

If I recall, the air pump for the horn is located in the same locker as the A/C compressor in the aft berth. They are supposed to receive a drop of light oil every year as standard maintenance. This may be the problem. Right after we took delivery of ours, the horn stopped and I traced it back to a connection behind the switches that had worked loose.

I would be interested in the outcome as I'm having the same problems. I have an '03 3060.
