2007 Upper Chesapeake BoaterEd Rendezvous

Our boat's in Rock Creek, so Stoney is not going to be a problem to get to! Although I do have this love of Still Pond.... But, either will suffice.
 
We are in depending on date. July 28th is committed to the Dinghy Poker Run on Middle River. Any place from Northeast down to Cambridge is OK.
 
Mike, Mike, Mike..... You must still be suffering from jet lag.

Do you see July 28th as an open date in post #3? We'll be at the Formula Rendezvous at Great Oak.

The beatings will commence tomorrow evening at Skipjack/Granary. Better yet - Call us if you stop by your property. Looks like we just might be rafted up in the area.....
 
OK, so the 28th won't work. How about July 16? I don't care where since I'm bumming a ride.

Chuck, we'll likely stop by the property tomorrow afternoon. We're meeting with the architech in Rock Hall at 11:00 AM. I'll give you a call.
 
Isn't the 16th a Monday?!? I'll be trying to earn enough to pay for the weekend! Did you mean the 21st, Mike?

Of course, Chuck's still not available on the 16th...

We met with and hired an architech in Rock Hall on Saturday. Left there around 2:00 and went up to visit the "Si Dock" gang at SJC. Had a few beers, a burger at Signals and headed home by 5:00. Sorry we didn't call but I knew there was no way we were hooking up that day. Tell Diane we need some fresh brewed nectar of the grapes for the get together!

I'll start another post detailing the house stuff.
 
Oh, crud. The 14th is the only weekend that's bad for us. We'll be coming back from the Outer Banks then...

Is there a good protected bay in the Rock Hall area? That would be a little closer for the gang coming from the middle or western reaches of the Bay. SInce there are plenty of public marinas there as well, they folks that want to "check in" for the night could do so. Plus, there's Watermans.....
 
Or we could just meet at Waterman's!! Just kidding... I think. Chuck, are you and the Admiral OK with that date? My Admiral is up in the air but we already decided, I'm good on that day with or without the usual adult supervision.
 
Dang, I'd like to meet the gang, but we're supposed to be on our way to VA Beach that weekend. I'll just have to go to Still Pond this weekend and imagine seeing Mike without that hat on!

If any of you are in Still Pond this weekend and see a 30' power cat, that'll be me. If I'm doing something stupid or embarrassing, that would be somebody else....
 
Looks like the 14th is kind of 50/50 right now. Anyone else care to say "yea" or "nay"?
 
If you pick ANY other weekend, and come into Stoney Creek (directly across from Rock Hall), we can offer 3 bedrooms (plus one pull out sofa) of faux-luxury accomodations, and only a 30 second dinghy ride from the raftup. It just won't be as super-secluded as last year.
 
We are flexible on dates. Just about any weekend is a good boating weekend. We had a great time last year.

7/14 won't work for us. We'll be in upstate NY all weekend at my niece's graduation party.

Chuck, you've got to find a way to free up either the 23rd or something in August... You seem to be the center of this all...

I'm with Mike... make sure your Admiral has the wine and shooters ready.

Maybe we need multiple raftups...
