2008's 1st official raft-up?

rommer is right about it being chilly up there, and jon is right about the cool breezes on the sound.

The two of you have reaffirmed my decision to stay local where it will be sunny and warm!

Butch, ask the Kremin if he will be able to stay awake past sundown.
 
Leaving Saturday and coming back Monday. Staying at Brewers Capri. May come back a day early and hook up with Hogan and his crew for an overnight there. Plans are still fluid at the moment.
 
Yeah, our plans are for plenty of fluids, as well!
 
If you change your mind rommer we will be in the creek , leaving early fri. morning may come back sun. instead of mon.,try to catch up with you guys that afternoon if your still there.
Make sure Hogan stays hydrated , I'll have a toast onboard to him if he gets the weather right & fire the cannons at any indians I see doing a rain dance along the river banks as we haed north:).

I thought I saw an update about hair of the dog after staying up here somewhere... Looks like the Rondout is in for a brain brusin'.
 
Hair of the dog usually refers to having a drink to mitigate a hangover right? Well, I thought the remark about hair of the dog implied a bit to drink thus, "a brain bruisin'". No "dis" intended there!
 
Dan, I know what "hair of the dog" is, but I still don't get the gist of your post...
 
Mike in other posts, there were some remarks about having some drinks up in Kgn, and then coming back down for some hair of the dog. Me, thinking that hair of the dog implied a good dose the night before, interpretted that to mean some brain cells were gonna get fried up in Kgn before coming south for the hair of the dog.
Fried brains = brain brusing. Nothing more. Not into contra coo and what not.

Just dumped the boat in tied to dock next to the ramp figures it's always low tide when I ramp ,gonna shower eat and crash on the boat untill 2 am then heading up to kingston , see you guys sun. around noon have a good weekend everyone,Jon...........
 
This weekend is really shaping up good. Been on the boat (off shoring) and even tho it's been cloudy, it's been great. Everyone have a good weekened with lotso fun!
