2010 Great Sacandaga Dam Tie Up

I thought it was a pretty good turn out, probably upwards of a hundred boats at the peak of the day.
We even get to swim in clean water, that doesnt get thousands of gallons of raw sewage dumped into it regularly. No PCBs or Nuclear power plants on the shores either.
 
Nice pics - Sacandaga is a beautiful lake - I was right there by the damn a few years ago. Clean water! When is the next tie up?
 
Every little bit helps this time of year. A nice sunny day, with a bunch of
boats tied up, up in the mountains, not bad.
I think this will take place again the first weekend of August.
 
Any raft-up with friends is a great raft-up! Right about now I would even consider a raft-up with my enemies.

LOL, almost lost my coffee on the keyboard to that one! How true it is tho.
 
Must have been a middle of the week event where you could not get out many boaters.
