29' Luhrs

I am looking at a 1989 29' Luhrs Tournament Fisherman with twin FWC 270hp Crusader engines. Anyone with any information on this boat good or bad would be appreciated.

Bill, The 29 luhrs is a well built boat. Solid glass bottom. The engine room is a bit cramped. The FWC crusaders are a plus.

Bill, I would have to agree with John, The FWC crusaders are a big plus. The marine power gas engines have a lot problems with corrison in this vessel.

Earlier last year, my slip neighbor had a 29 Luhrs, not sure what year but was probably this age at least. He loved the boat but had it for sale. His only negative about the boat was its fuel consumption.
