The show along the south shore from Massapequa to Lindenhurst was fantastic on the 4th. Went out as it was getting dark and did a slow cruise back and forth. Very windy and a bit too choppy though.
Saturday night the fireworks were decent too, and the conditions were perfect. Just enough of a breeze to keep the bugs away, but calm enough to enjoy a nice night on the hook watching fireworks.
