56 Voyager...very disappointing

did any one say there was anything wrong with nascar? why are you defensive?

AOL.com a company email account? yeah.. right...

Know nothing boaters? as in "where can i get a wiring diagram, cleats and light for a 16 footer"?

May God help anyone who is unfortunate enough to hire this pathetic loser to work on their boat...

PASCAL

I NEVER SAID AOL WAS A COMPANY E-MAIL. If you look a few posts up youll see that i share AOL with my son SINCE I HAVE A COMPANY e-mail THAT I WAS STRICTLY FOR BUSINESS.

AND ITS NOT AS SIMPLE AS FINDING ANY SET OF CLEATS ITS FOR A '69 searay. Finding older parts for BOATS is MUCH harder then finding parts for a '69 car...MARINE MAX CANT EVEN TRACK PARTS DOWN, HENCE WHY I WAS ASKING FOR HELP. JEEZ

if these are insults then you guys have a lot of work to do.

but hey, if it really bothers you all, all you have to do is ask nicely and ill stop with the silly comments. Plain and simple. Though I dont think Hogan knows how to ask nicely.

"He can't even keep his lies straight!"

has never heard of Gmail, Yahoo and aliases either... :-)

you mean, as a "marine engineer" you went to Marine Max to find parts for a 40 years old searay?

good one Antsy...

This thread is an embarassment to BoaterEd. Go to your room boys and ignore this thread.

Imagine this guy's voice.

"actually. the bud on POF is my son"

POF?

What's a POF? I've never heard of a POF. Have you heard of a POF? What is a POF? Let's go to our friend and Al Gores illegitimate child, the internet.

POF:

Piano dell'Offerta Formativa (Italian school document). Probably not. He wasn't speaking Italian.

Plastic Optical Fiber. Probably not that one either. Too high tech.

Premature Ovarian Failure (early menopause). Judging by the attitude and mood swings....quite possible?

Polymer Optical Fiber. No! Same high tech sh!t. Different name.

Plenty of Fish. Mr. Hogan has ruled that one out.

Proof of Funds. Perhaps for the beer.

Physics-Of-Failure. Getting close!

Probability of Failure. Even closer!

Point of Failure. REALLY CLOSE NOW!

Payment for Order Flow (stock exchange)? Priority of fires (US DoD)? Purchase Order Financing? All too far over his head.

Wait. I've got it.

POF.

Pontificating Old Fart.

If used in a sentence it would be something like; "Although mentally just a child, he presented himself like a POF."

Now you know!

Thank you and good night.

it's kind of fun making an a$$ out of budloser. Not sure what kind of boats he works on if he thinks Carvers are total junk...maybe aircraft carriers? As most of you know, I've been working with Carvers for almost 30 years, and have owned them and still have one. Looking for a bigger one, in fact. NEVER had any problems with them, and any factory problems we have had with new ones are quickly rectified by Carver and us as a dealer.

On another note...a I heard an industry rumor from a respectible source...Meridian will no longer be Meridian in about 6 months...the great minds at Brunswick have decided to change the name...to...Sea Ray.

And...WHO would go to Marine Max for parts for a 40 year old Sea Ray? Hell, they couldn't even find parts for my dock partner's 2002!!!

This started out amusing...then annoying, much like a little child that asks the same question over...and over.

Good thing I bought my Silverton before Carver took them over! Where did you hear that Budwiser6? Silverton remains an employee owned subsidiary of the Luhr's Marine Group (Silverton, Luhrs, Mainship and Hunter Sailboats.) No Carvers lurking in there that I know of.
