Greetings to all. I am trying to fix a bad oil leak coming from the rear of the engine (Honda twin cylinder) on my 6.5 kohler genset. I am trying to separate the the generator from the engine to determine the source of the leak. I have removed the stator and case assembly. The rotor is attached to the mainshaft by a long bolt and have removed the bolt however the rotor will not come out. I can't see inside towards the engine due to a fan attached to the rotor shaft. Anybody have any experience with this situation?
