The power steering seems inoperative on my 1990 searay 270 sundancer. I do not feel any difference in steering with the motor running or off. Can you test that the actuator is working? I thought of disconnecting the steering cable from the control valve and operating the valve manually to see if it moved the drive. I want to determin if the seals are shot.
Next question, I replaced the water pump last season, do you replace the impeller after every season? Is there a good source or post on this subject?
