Looks like summer has arrived! I'll be on the boat the next two days.

WOO - HOO!!!!

I was up there this afternoon, the Admiral made me come home...

I made it up to the boat today for a couple of hours. What would really suck would be having to travel for work and being forced to leave the country for meetings. Now that would really blow. Being able to go to the boat and remote into the office to write estimates and bills now that living.

SW La. has been over 100 deg. for the past week.
Summer has been here for a couple months now.

Made a three day trek from Florence Alabama to Kentucky Lake (the Tennessee River) last week in the mid 90's. It took us a couple of days to recuperate from the heat. My cockpit is NOT air conditioned.

And Greetings to you Dave from Montreal where I am miles from my boat... You really know how to rub it in. Mike I agree work is a 4 letter word and one of the worst I may add.

Well I'm sitting on my boat right now and I must say it's hot out!!!
I figured I would take advantage of a little down time and install another camera but it's hot out I'm not sure I feel like working right now, even if it is on my own boat.

Spent the day over in Croton! The water was fantastic... Back out tomorrow

We've been in Florida for about a week and a half on the boat. Temps in the mid-80's with about 50% humidity. A big "poo-poo" to all my friends in Maryland that thought we were nuts for taking the boat to Florida this time of year do to heat. Now they're all complaining about how hot it is in the Mid-Atlantic. At least here, if I want to swim, I can see the bottom!

It beats two weeks in Asia. I forget how to use a fork. I must say the steamed snake, goose head and monkey were quite delicious though.

Weather is the biggest misconception about Florida. It's usually much cooler with lower humidy here than in many parts of the country.

We discovered this 35 years ago and moved to Florida, never once regretted the move, dock behind the house, solar heated pool and 365 days of boating. What more could you want?

I think he was made for a nice big cruiser with an extended platform to lay out on.

Sorry I've got two already, winky is all yours. I'm sure he will grow on you or is that go on you.
Just teasing seems great enjoy.

Winds less than 20 knots would be a good start :-)
