He/She was found Wednesday 06/24/09 morning near the launch ramp. As you can see, there is A LOT of debris that has washed up from the last few weeks of rain.

Looks like he/she came down from Roundout
 
Found a baby snapping turtle a few weeks ago at SPBM, the kids kept him/her a while then let it go.
 
Always makes me happy to see more nature returning to the river , I never saw a turtle in are area before and he looked good sized too. Thanks for sharing
 
carver, I'd hate to see your recipe for turtle soup!
