this past weekend was one of the best we have had in years! I usually don't like Croton on weekends because of the idiots who race through and the rocking and rolling from wakes on the river.

Saturday we went over early and got a good spot. We could hear the music from the Clearwater festival. Best of all, hardly any other boats were there and there were no wakes coming in.

Saturday night was gorgeous there, perfect weather.

Sunday was a bit more crowded, but the music was great, and the water stayed flat.

All-in-all, one of the best weekends in a LONG time. If you didn't get out, you missed a great one.

We were out there Saturday for our first anchoring of the year. Nine 14 year old girls celebrating end of school. Tubing and grilling 3-7 then hung at dock.

Sunday was just me and my girls on our recently acquired 17' CC. That boat is so much fun! Cruised the bay then quick dip at Croton then ran home to watch USA in world cup....crappy way to end a beautiful weekend (Portugal tying game with 30 seconds left)

Yes, weather was awesome!
