Last year we left Little Harbour when two buddy boats came out North Bar and we all headed South. We took Freedom to Royal Island and then to Spanish Wells. The other two boats turned for Nassau as soon as they rounded Hole In the Wall. The weather leading up to this was a 2-3 foot swell out of the North East and light winds around 10-15. The night before we left it clocked to the South East and blew almost to 20 and died off in the early morning.
What we were left with was a confused sea of about 2-3' all the way down to the North East Providence channel where it seemed to settle down into a 2-3' swell out of the South East. Eventually it was calm. The folks going to Nassau had it much better as they neared Nassau where they used the Western entrance.
If you leave from Little Harbour tide will be an issue getting in and out. Otherwise anchor at Lynyard overnite, or with your fast ride, Hope Town and South Man O War.
We have only 13.5' of beam and no lower station so our ride is generally worse than most others.
Some other dialog about that portion of the trip ->

I will say that if the wind is out of the South East that you are better off staying in the N.E.P. channel on the South side. I suppose you could use Fleeming Channel to duck behind the barrier and use the East entrance into Nassau if conditions in the N.E.P. dictate. We know the N.E.P. can be better when the winds are out of the South East! Two weeks after getting to Spanish we tried for Highbourne using Fleeming, and the bank was a mess while N.E.P. was benign.
Last week we paid 6.13 using a card at Lighthouse for diesel. Nassau should be cheaper.
I know you have taken on the Stream when we would not so it would seem like you can handle it.
