Ablative vs hard bottom paint - time out of water?

My new (to me) boat has Trinidad SR hard bottom paint. The previous owner told me that I shouldn't haul it out for more than 24 hours otherwise the paint will be damaged. Is this correct. I've read in a few forums that ablative paint is the one that shouldn't be left out too long.
