Hi northeast folks,

Need your help and advice. Lost my job in Exeter after almost 10 years. Should I post in the 'position wanted' here on Boatered for any typist / administrative asst position or is this more geared towards executives? I would love to work typing at home but hesitate to answer those types of ads. Need to keep local, Exeter, Epping, Stratham for any kind of clerical / admin / typing position.

Any advice / honest work at home websites, etc. would be appreciated. I have the usual other websites, craigslist, NHRegional, JobSeeker and NH Employment.

Thanks!

Advertise yourself as much as you can. No reason why you shouldn't post here.

good luck with the job search

Hi! If you could, please let meknow what you are doing to find this type of work at home. My wife is looking for work at home and is in the same situation as you. She has done legal/admin assit work for many years and would love to do this at home where she has all the tools. We are skeptikal about answering these "Work From Home" ads as well.

Thanks and good luck!

Hi, the usual websites and I have them all in a WORD doc if your wife would like them. Shoot me a PM and I'll email them to you if she wants. Also going to the company's websites has been helpful. If anything new comes up, I'll let you know, good luck to your wife, as well!

I take that back. Even though I am a subscriber, it is not letting me send a PM or e-mail to you (telling me I am NOT a subscriber).

In any case, you can send it to ron-at-networknerds-dot-com.

Hey Kim - sorry to hear. Don't know if you know medical transcription but Wentworth-Douglas in Dover was advertising for those positions about a month ago. Good luck!

thanks for the kind thoughts, Steve. That is strange...I graduated from college for medical transcription but that was too LONG ago! I'll have to look into a refresher course :)

take care!
