I cannot find the aft holding tank air filter on my 2006 39MY. I removed the panels above the holding tank & checked the area where the tube exits the boat...although there is not much access...anyone know?

How do you know there is a ventline filter? Not standard on many boats. If you have one, it's on the vent line between the tank and the thru hull.

My 2000 326 MY didn't come with one and I was informed that Carver didnt factory install these. Simple installation, you just need to splice into your vent line and install the filter canister. I purchased a Sealand Sanigard from WestMarine and installed it within 10 minutes. You could easily make your own with activated carbon (pet store), 8 inches of 1.5" PVC pipe, rubber coupling (Homedepot), and plastic fittings. See WestMarine site for picture.

I guess there wasn't one installed, however, the forward tank had one....weird!!

Carver told me a couple of days ago that they installed filters after 2001.
