If anyone finds one, I sure would like to know about it...This is the worst I have ever seen them. I burn a citrenella candle when I can watch it but the minute it goes out they invade again.
Try the Georgia lowlands in May! A cloud of them follows everyone around and they bite. We never found a way to keep them off either but we know the sparrows come around in the morning and pick them up. I think they get stuck in the morning dew.
We got a good dousing last nite (again) and the forecast includes more. Right now the Esopus is at the action stage and the Rondout is also. Dang muddy up here all season.
