Air Show

[Prospective]

Anyone going this weekend. I am curious where the prefered places are to drop the hook near Quonsett Point.

Your best bet would be to tuck into Allens Harbor and anchor there. You won;t have a view of what happens on the ground but most of the show is in the air anyway and you'll avoid the crowds outside of Quonsett.

Has anyone seen a schedule of performers with times. I can find a list of performers but they don't list the time.

I should not have asked where to drop the hook but rather where not to... West Passage in front of the air show was a parking lot with boats stretching from Quonsett almost all the way to Prudence Island. I ended up going to Block this weekend but comming back past Quonsett, you had to weave thru the bay like it was an ancorage in a marina. I guess the relativly calm conditions made any place o.k.
