Today was beautiful and the next few days are supposed to be excellent as well. I was tempted to pull the entire cover off today, but settled with cutting off the lower half so I could prep the bottom for painting tomorrow. I would like to think that March will not give us any more nasty surprises but we all know better than that, so the remaining shrinkwrap stays on until the end of March.

Mine is coming off Saturday. Expect one more snowstorm after that...

The temptation is great but I too have bottom work to do, so I will try to wait until I at least scrap and sand to keep down the clean up time. I finished the dash panel today and the trunk storage lid, I need to cut at least part of the cover to install that. It's looking good I can't wait to see it done. Swim platform is on order and hope it ships out in about two weeks. Then all will be great and I wont be too late for launch time.

F it, I'm pulling it this weekend. I still have some work to do, but after today I can't wait any longer.

I have all ready, Canvas goes on today and started waxing yesterday. Should be all finished with prep work by Sunday. Oh we have all ready launced our first boat in the marina yesterday...

Seems a little early, is it a die hard fisherman?

It's not too early if the weather stays this nice and Sea Tow has 1 boat in just in case.

I dont know but they were getting ready to go out again last night. I hear they are getting some by Haverstraw from the shore line...

There had to be about 15 guys fishing from the shore at Haverstraw yesterday. Looks like they were having a good time...but I'm not sure if they were catching anything.

Everyone fishing in the Hudson river better have the new salt water license. I see the DEC floating around along the river. You can get one at any town clerk's office. The fee is $10.00 which is cheap compared to my Florida non-resident salt water fishing license which is $52.00.

We don't need no stinkin' licenses!!!

You should need a license only if catch something.

If you have no fish in the boat, why would you need a license? They can only bust you if you have fish.

This is just another money grab (tax) by our great government(s).

I thought if you had a line in the water they could fine you. After all it's a fishing license not a catching license.

You tell them you are not fishing, you are feeding the fish...

Only if you promise to defend me in court. It's time to get started for today I have to go get tires for my son's car then but up to the boat and do some more scraping, they are planning on sanding on Monday I have to get it ready. I'm sure I'll see you there.

I was thinking of going in next week so I could catch some stripers but there is a huge amount of debris in the water including some large logs. I can see broken props and busted tranducers from all of that so I think I'll wait a bit.
