Amazing, they found him….

This happens so often I am surprised the cruise lines have not placed "line of sight" motion cameras along the hulls of their ships to detect overboard passengers. It would at least put a time stamp so location can be ascertained. It is indeed amazing they found him.

Since I have never been on one of these ships I have to ask how one falls overboard? Are all these incidents because people are stupid or is there a design weakness?

It's called 'alcohol' or you call it CL. :ROFLMAO:

😁 Ok so drunks pee over the side and follow it in….is this a new thing with the non-binary crowd since a fair number of these folks are not equipped with outdoor plumbing.🤔🤔🤔😉😉😉

Apparently you have never been on a hotel balcony in a peeing contest with flight attendants. Remember, they don’t have prostates to enlarge and restrict flow !

Having been on a number of cruises, I have to say one has to work at falling over the side. Being 6'4" thus having a higher center of gravity, I don't recall many places where I could get knocked over the side let along fall on the railing and wind up in the drink.
Yes, cudo's to the crews that located him. Nothing short of amazing.
I wonder how fast he sobered up having fallen in.

I've been on lots of cruises....there is no easy way to go overboard, you'd have to work at it.

So, another drunk gets a second chance! Perhaps he will use it well; although that is doubtful.

Never been on a cattle ship but the railings have to be at least as high as regular commercial vessels which is significantly higher than pleasure boats. In fact that s how you can quickly tell an inspected vessel from recreational.

I guess they need to eliminate anything idiots can climb on.

They should just let them drown. If you re that stupid, you don’t deserve a second chance.

It could have been a suicidal effort that failed to produce. It’s one thing to go quick and another to do it slowly. Once in the water alive it becomes a “aw-sh:t”
