My slip on A dock will be available next year.
Slip is 14' wide and can hold a 45' boat.

Park behind your boat.

Sure, slip is well protected and I have additional rubber if needed.
Finger pier and poles are all in good shape.
 
I used this slip once while D dock was under construction. My boat had a 13'10 beam, and overall length was 40.5 inches. It was a good fit, good canal, and it is a very quiet dock, no car traffic. What is really nice about this dock is the new park they just built behind it.
 
New Park looks nice, was there over weekend. Will have trees, grass and benches!
 
Dave......where did they build the park ??? ......along the water by " D " dock ???
 
We have 3 park areas now.
One is between S and A dock as soon as you come in. It used to be where they stored the jack stands. Was a fenced in area. It is the land by the gas dock!
Two is behind A dock, where we have bocce ball, putting green, horeshoes, and volleyball.
Three is behind D dock along the water. There will be grass, trees, benches, Gazebo's.
I guess a fourth area is the center grass where they put boats, trailers, etc. That has another Gazebo.

They are trying to make the place more warm and fuzzy for the dock mary's, which is fine by me as there are weekends I don't move the boat, but spend weekend on the boat!

My slip is in the Dead end of A dock. My long term renter is moving to a bigger slip.
It is a great slip for a family cruiser with kids.

I am also willing to negotiate price if you don't want Winter storage.
 
That's fantastic.......it shows the true potential of the AYC. It was a nice place before and I'm sure its even NICER now....and it makes all property values go up too. Good luck with the rental/sale of your slips.
 
Haven't been there in a while, but the AYC always seemed like a good situation to me. Much better than paying rent in a traditional marina.
If I didn't own my dock space, I would have looked to get something in there.
 
The positive of the LIYC going belly-up .....is it puts a lot of boaters into the renting market. Maybe even some into the buying market too.

I just need a boat... But have about 2-3 years to go. Still paying for a boat I don't have. Errrrrrr !!!

Thanks Billy, I may take you up on that.

Last week Linda and I were talking about a CC like V&R have down in FL, but we really like the sleep over type as we had before, I am not much of a day tripper... LOL :-)
