I own 2.
Walter owns 2.

You running for the board?

Just seeing how many of us are on here. Mr Beck never returned my email regarding the rental $$.

Rob

He has a office there and is there every day. He rents the pool office for his business.
Stop down. Or call.

I might be renting on the J K or L dock, Got a good rate for the season plus my trailer..

Matt,
What changed? You said it was too high and no storage? Did East Shore meet your needs?

East Shore was much lower, and VERY reasonable for trailer storage.

Might go there Saturday to see the slips.

Great on both.
I may be down there this weekend as I want to see where things are in the marina and if my old boat is gone yet!

You should consider renting privately.
I do.

Im going done friday to see the finger slip conditions. I didnt want the hassle of renting but this may be the turning point.

Run a ad on craigslist and/or here.
Gee, I will rent it for you, send me the details!
It's no big deal. You save like 10% so you can go lower.
Only hassle is electric, they won't send electric bill to tenant if not thru AYC.
So I take bill and mail it to my renter and ask him to pay, he always pays.

We,(The wife and I) Own Slip D-7 at the Anchorage.
As of late last week nothing there has changed.

I wonder what the repair cost to get the place back in shape after the storm and fire are going to do to the maintenance costs over the next few years.
Still a good deal IMHO if you don't have waterfront property. Great location, and the opportunity to do your own repairs/maintenance are major pluses.

Commercial unit is its own entity and therefore has no affect on the condo fees. I think it would be fair to think there will be a long term assessment to cover repairs, the good news is this place is huge so the costs are spread across 500 plus slips

Does the condo depend on revenue (lease income) from the commercial unit?

Yes I believe it does, but the are still operating onsite in a trailer. Also, just because they had a fire does not release them from there obligation to the association, hopefully the have " lose of business insurance" .

Anyone receive rental deposits yet ? I was promised payment last month .
