When you own a slip or a home or anything you rent, you are correct it is about the money?? If it was not about that then such a person that can't afford to buy a home or slip would be in the wind!
Just because we rent slips does not mean we don't care about our renter.
Gees, If I rented a slip in the Montauk Yacht Club for the season and paid (for his size boat) 10k + + + ) They don't even have padded slips??
In 30 years as a boater, I have never seen such, padded slips that is???
Guess that was my point and where I thought his post was absurd!
Also,
If you need a "padded slip" there is only two reasons why.
You chose, your decision, a slip that is to small, if not that, you need to learn how to tie your boat up properly.
Both scenarios are your responsibility and not the person that rented you the slip.
