Annapolis boat show

Anybody going?
Anybody have a promo code for a discount on tickets?
 
Not going this year. We were a bit disappointed with the show last year, particularly with the lack of relevant vendors.

I agree Mike, every year gets less and less. I go for the enjoyment of not working and of course the pub crawl!
 
Last year was the first year I have been to Annapolis. I was not too impressed with the boat side of the show but some of the accessories I had never seen live and up close were interesting. Thrusters, head systems, lighting, generators...... I wish they had a show just for that that!

The economy is still in the trash can. No new to me boat is on the horizon so I doubt I'll go this year. It's a 3+ hour drive each way and hotels are crazy expensive in the area so it makes for too long of a one day trip.
 
I just got an email from a friend who works for
Ray Marine in NH, he will be at the sailboat show representing Ray Marine but not the Power Boat show. I guess they feel they do not get enough bang for their buck at the PB show.
Unfortunately this is becoming the norm...
Still going though!
 
I went to the PB show, I thought it was good. The broker who sold my boat gave me a free ticket so it only cost me $3900 for the pass! This was my first time to the Annapolis show as I usually go to the show on Kent Island in the spring.
