Congrats Jonathan! When are you coming up to give us all a ride? ;)

I'm coming when I bring her up to go to sleep!!!!

Probably end of November/begining of December. All depends on the weather. If it stays nics, the boat stays in the water. I have to be out of the water 12/31-02/28. 2 months.

Outboards are great, not really a worry about freezing. I will winterize the head, freshwater system, blowout the livewell and washdown. Leave the outboards ready to go.

WOW nice boat!

I am going to have to sell my car and buy a CC to join the bandwagon.

Congrats again Jonathan, looked like a nice boat when we were checking it out when I was there last month.

Nice boat Jonathan, the hull color looks really good. A light coat of wax and then put the Leverage on and I'll bet your eyes would pop out! Cool move.........

I have center console envy! Deb said if I didn' buy the M3 we could have had one...

Very nice gypsy!!

Is the color "sea foam green"?

How long before Jake is taking it out on his own?

Mike,

It's your boats bigger brother 27' 4" LOA 9' beam.

Jake is too young for NJ so I guess I'll have to take him to the other side of the river to learn.

Yes it's sea foam green, I wish I was getting it ready for the Bahamas or the Keys instead of the hard.

George,

Is Leverage a sealant, do you need to even wax before using it?

Jonathan

They call it a polish but to me it's really a sealant. You don't have to wax before using it but your surface has to be clean, it has no cutting or abrasive action. I'm not sure if I am more amazed at the shine or the slickness (is that a scrabble word!) of the surface. I used it on a '66 Mustang today and the paint felt like glass! I can see why it is a hit with the go-fast crowd, and why their factory can't keep up with demand.

George, I'd like to use that on mine, where can I get it?

Jonathan, beware, once he learns how to use it, he'll never let YOU use it!

I've gotta rig the boat with a step so the kids can see over the console, right now they can't.

Gave the boat a huge detailing job today, spent 5 hours cleaning her up, ready to go fishing now.

Jonathan

Mike, send me an email and I will forward the link to order - you know all about the rules - or you can hire me but that could get to be really expensive! The stuff is pretty expensive but if you got 2 or 3 others to go in and buy a gallon you could save big time.

Jonathan, get a can of Gel Gloss and keep with your cleaning supplies. When the fish aren't biting you can do a spray and wipe and keep ahead of the maintenance now that you have her in tip top shape. Great stuff for the interior surfaces, will make the fish blood cleanups so much easier.
