It's been very quiet in here all season.

We had another great season. Bought a hard bottom dink and got a "new" used 9.9 merc 2 stroke.

Did our two week trip out East, mostly by ourselves, but hooked up with Wake N Waves in Block, and met plenty of great boaters along the way. Stopped as stayed a night in Greenwich with Fish Tale and Bone Voyage - had a fantastic time with them.

Spent weekends at the dock, in Bowline or in Croton. Spent a lot of Wednesdays on the boat, and eating out at the few restaurants we could get to by boat. Found Ralph (from Ralph & Dave's) working at the Croton Tavern, and ate there a couple of times.

Boat ran well all season, put 40 hours on the motors and 150 on the generator.

Our dog swam all day, every day we were out on the hook, not sure how we'll tire him out over the winter.

Boats are both out, winterized and spending the winter indoors. Have work to do on Hogan, and being indoors will make it much easier.

Now it's Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and a couple of trips to Aruba, and possibly an Italy trip, before we splash in April or May.
 
Indoor storage is great. I wish we had the option for that around here.
 
We had a great season as well! Only took about a 10 day trip but it was great. I don't track hours on Benny but I'm sure I put over 150 but don't think my mains topped 30.
For those that don't know Hogan or his dog for this matter I think Scout spends about as much time in the water as on the boat at least while on a hook. That dog loves to swim!

Ha ha, our dog Scout does LOVE to swim. He will chase his toy in the water all day. There have been days when he has been swimming for over 8 hours, nonstop.
 
Wayne changed the name to USA Marina a year or so ago. He sold it this spring. The new owners are trying to build the business back up. What ever the plans for the property are the marina is staying so we hear.
 
I still have found memories of the marina I would likely still be there if they had deep water!
 
Dave go thru there and you will see how the place is falling apart. I would be careful just walking on the docks that are remaining, and the fingers are a real mess. Most of the seawall no longer exists. A real shame from what it was when Gene was there.

Moved boat to peconic for month of august.
Put 53 hours on boat, a record for me.
No boat issues, except a mild clogged filter which was my fault. Polished tanks and ran good after that.
Trips included Block, Essex, Pilot's Point, Old Saybrook. Plus the local crap on South Shore.
I did ding a prop, not sure how and clearly was not a bottom hit. I do recall feeling something in the sound. Not sure what I hit but IPS is so forgiving that boat still ran at full capacity and no vibration. After all it is a small ding on 1 blade out of 14 blades.

Sounds like an awesome season. I didn’t get to take nearly the number of trips that I was hoping for but still managed to put about 50 hours on her and a good amount of overnights.
We absolutely love the bigger boat.
Hoping the wife stops working next year so we can get more trips in.
