Just got back yesterday from our annual 2 week boat trip, almost 350 miles.

We stopped at Lloyd Harbor, Branford, Greenport, Block Island, Old Saybrook and Greenwich.

Had a great time, met up with old friends (rommer & Fish Tale) and met some wonderful new friends. Saw about a dozen porpoises jumping out of the water off of Fisher's Island.

Other than two rainy days, weather was great. Had tide with us every leg, and never had any fog or rough water.

Boat ran great, fuel prices were reasonable.

Only downside is that the new owners of Brewers have discontinued the "cruising card" so you no longer get a discount at subsequent stays. As a result, Brewer is no longer our default choice.

Marina life offer discounts at many marinas it cost $49 dollar for the year and the first time I used it was at Montauk which was a saving of $88 for the two night stay. Used it again at Greenport for another 10% saving well worth the price!
We had a great trip as well as you said the weather was great the company was great price of fuel was a big plus. We literally crossed paths with Fishtail on our way home yesterday. Funny how you managed to reach Rising Sun on the radio but not us then you spent a night or two at his marina and he was with us. Small world! It sucked having to go back to work today. Glad to hear you had a good trip.

Don't forget about the fishing. My one and only catch. I'm going to mount this bad boy.

I went to upgrade the 3rd party hosting as the pic says above and it's $400. I'm assuming this for BE to accept photo's but not certain. Clearly I'm not paying for this. Is there another site I can use besides Photobucket?

Threads all over the internet regarding photobucket holding a gun to everybody's head asking for $400 to share your pictures.

From what I've been reading, I would make sure you have local copies of all of your pictures just in case photobucket decides non paying users aren't worth the trouble.

I just use google drive for $1.99 a month (use it to backup other types of documents too so the $2 is more than worth it to me).

I also love such holidays but sometimes it is tiring and you need a more relaxing vacation. For example, my family and I searched for the best holiday houses across Australia and booked on https://www.onholidays.com.au a large house where we have all kinds of fun and it is close to the sea. I made sure it was interesting for the children as well, so the house also includes events for them. I'm sure it will be something unforgettable.
