Any fish biting on the Hudson yet?

I've fished several times around Stony Point but nothing. The water is still cold,44 degrees to-day. Some stripers are being caught from shore and from the bridge at the park.If it's warm and calm I'll try Croton Point next weekend.
 
Fished the out going tide tonight. About a dozen shorts and 1 18"....Used old line and had about 1/2 a dozen break offs. New line goes on tomorrow...
 
Hey Butch, Do you remove the rods for the boat after boating season?
 
Salt water yes but my light stuff I leave. Usually change line beginning of season but did not get around to it yet. I paid for that mistake...Now I can only say it seemed like a big one...I did hear someone say they landed a 15 pounder on the radio but I dont rely on anything I hear on it...
 
Hope that 15 pounder didnt break that radio, Butch!!! They should have been more careful...

I thought that boat at the fuel dock looked familiar. good luck fishing, so long as Warren is not with you, you should do just fine!

On Sunday I hit for 1/2 dozen throwbacks. All Stripers. I heard Saturday was the better day
