This part is on my 1976 Sea Ray, 30' sportfisher. Twin 350 Mercruisers, one each motor.
It is connected from the alternator to the lug on the left, then from the lug on the right to the main wire harness plug. The single horizontal lug is connected to the alternator ground.
Any ideas what this thing is? Do I even need it?
