Hey folks. Caryn's mom is at Good Samaritan in Suffern and has hit a rough spot. Gladys is A neg--all her kids are pos., so they can't donate. I'm O pos, so I'm excluded. If anyone here is a match we would consider it a huge personal favor if you could donate blood. Prayers never hurt. Thank You so much in advance.
 
I'm O-, but I recently donated and can't donate again until April 30.
 
I'm A+ or else I'd be all over this for you. Then, there's the heart meds that I'm taking that could prevent their accepting my donation. But, I would if I could.

Keith, I'm not sure, but I believe NY Blood Services and Red Cross send blood all over the tri-state area. I emailed my LI family and friends
to widen the catchment net. Thanks.

I don't believe you can "direct" your donation to any one person, it goes into the blood bank and then out to whomever needs it.
 
Do you know anyone on your local police and/or fire departments? My guess is that they would rise to the occasion.
 
I have a grandson who is 0 negative. When he grows up, I bet his blood will be in high demand!

Like George, Meds and heart do not allow me to donate anymore but I still have a prayer or 2...We will keep you guys in our thoughts.
 
Does she still need blood? I'm A- and I'll bet we could figure out a way to get it there.
 
Greg, thanks, I appreciate it. Thankfully, she hasn't needed a transfusion since last week.
