Hey Vic,

Will you be at the boat show this weekend? I will be there Friday and hope to see you.

Sorry Craig, we've cut way back on the shows we're attending this year. Atlantic City isn't on this year's list. I may stop by on Saturday as a "visitor" (haven't decided for sure yet), but Raritan won't have a booth there this year.

Sorry to hear that Vic. I know the last couple of years, the AC boat show is getting smaller and smaller. Of course, I'm partial to big sportfisherman boats, but most manufacturers stop bringing in their big boats.

Well Vic, you did not miss much! The vendor area was smaller this year. I hear a lot of talking from vendors thinking long and hard about continuing to come to this show. I wonder why I still come too. We were in and out in a couple of hours.

Between the economy and the weather, this just doesn't seem to be a good year for Boat Shows. The upcoming show in Miami will probably be a lot more indicative of what's REALLY going on in the industry. We'll see...

First time attending the AC show.Personal biased opinion--disappointing.
If you were in the market for a small to midsized fishing boat and had done your homework you could have likely done well. Acessories geared mainly to fishing also. Which is fine for the the fishing crowd, which is likely a huge part of the market in that area.
We use our boat for cruising. Two - three days to 2 - 3 weeks at a time.
Maybe because we have just about everything we need or want is why I was disappointed.
This is the first show we have been to that at least a few things didn't jump out and say "Buy Me".But to fair, there were some 21-28 foot express cruisers.
Again--my personal biased opinion.
Ron PS--Also some decent electronics displays

The Atlantic city show seems to be geared toward fishermen, and always has been.
