We are considering this package as a replacement tender for our Nauticat 33, available from an old business aquaintance/marina friend, at a very good price. Our old Quicksilver inflatable bottom dinghy is small at 8'-6" and the Merc 3.3 can't get it on plane. This tender package seems to be a fun & comfortable move-up choice.

However, since some boatowners have experienced regrets over their tender & motor decisions, I would like to learn from others, who may share their opinion of both this boat & motor. Our use will be for shore access while cruising and general fun on the water. It will be towed from our stern while underway - until I select a stern davit system for planned ocean voyages.

Both boat & motor are 2003 models, commissioned by the prior owner of an Egg 38, recently bought by my friend. He has no need for the tender/motor and claims they have only been used for 2 hours (and they look brand spanking new). The hypalon RIB is an Avon Rover 310, 10'-2" x 5'-3" with bow locker and waterproof canvas cover. The manual start Yamaha F15 4-stroke appears to be high rated in reviews I have read.

Thanks in advance for all opinions - good or bad.
