Bahama boat rental advice

I am considering renting a power catamaran for a week of cruising in the Bahamas this winter. Will be taking 4 adults and 3 young children. Something like the Moorings Power 372 or 39X would seem to be reasonable.

I would very much appreciate anyone's advice on rental companies or alternate boats to consider.

A friend of mine has rented cats from the Moorings in the Bahamas a couple of times and has been happy with them each time. For that many people I would get the larger boat.

I'll second the larger boat with that many people. The winds normally pick up January and February. Make sure you have your reservations soon!

You might also consider Cruise Abaco. We have seen Mark (the owner) out working the fleet many times. I believe there was a mention that he is booked up already so again, get your reservations in. And that includes air. We have used Silver Airways and been happy with their service.
