Ok. Through my research, I have learned that I must be prepared to fly some nautical flags when cruising on the Bahamas. First, and most important, I will continue to fly an American flag at all times. When I arrive in Bimini, I will also need to fly the “Q" or quarantine flag. After clearing customs, I will need to fly the Bahamas courtesy flag.
That brings me to my questions..
First I have seen two different flags being sold a Bahamas Courtesy flag,. One has four fields (flag sectioned into four equal parts), three are red and one has the Bahamas nation Flag. The other is just the Bahamas national flag. With is the correct one?
Next, what size should these flags be? I have a small flag staff, and would like to keep Ol' Glory up, and put additional pedants below it.
Lastly, where should I buy these pendants? I really will only use them one or twice a year, so they don't have to be as high quality as my everyday American flag. Anyplace to find some used (other than ebay)? Really the вЂQ' flag will be used for less that an hour, I could use a yellow pair of undies, if really needed.
