Anybody go yet? Any details, is show same as last year? Or bigger?

I'm planning on going there; just looking to get away for the day.

Good God, you've got 660hp on your boat? What do you cruise at, 85-100 knots?

660hp on a 47 boat doesn't seem excessive. My little 32 foot boat has 640hp. I only cruise at 23 knots, but I can hit about 45 knots if needed. Probably explains why I only get about 1.3 miles per gallon at cruise.

Cruise about 26 knots. It is fairly heavy boat, so it has right size motors. We also have an 11' Avon rib with 40 HP on bow. We generally have 400 ga or more fuel, 100+ ga water, and lots of people on boat. Burns 40-50 gph at cruise. 22 knots saves fuel, and is a good cruise in chop or when not in a hurry.

Mixman, I love your gph burn... wow!

Heh, we've got totally different boats, that's for sure. I only carry 72 gallons of fuel, but that's good for 300 miles at my max cruise of 17 knots, or 600 miles at hull speed. However, you can sure carry and entertain a lot more people than I can! And then there's the fact that you've got a 40hp OB on your dink when my dink has a 2.5hp Merc. But then again, I've only got twin Honda 50s to power the mother ship(which explains my fuel economy :-)

Have fun at the show!

700 HP on mine, 140 gallons of high test. 1.8 MPG at 3,000 RPM minimum planning speed of 30-35 knots. Heck, almost trawler economy! <gg>
