Rumor has it that Belle Harbor has been sold but not to whom you think. Seems the guy that has been on a buying spree had a deal to buy but at the last minute was outbid by someone else.

The someone else is a closely guarded secret at the moment. I wonder who it is. I think it would be great if the Pastys boys bought it. A major monkey wrench in fact!

The Stony Point story continues to unfold!

I've got to say the clean up at Stony Point Bay Marina is really nice even thou I hear the exodus continues...

Well if Patsys has any desire to stay in business they would have to be the ones that bought it.. With SPBM buying Patsys storage area. Pastsy really has no choice... IMHO

I hope it was Mike who bought it. My boat won't ever see Stony Point Bay, since the travel lift well won't fit me. I still need a good winter refuge every now and again.

Like Leigh says, it's coming down to life or death for Patsy's with Wayne's frontal assault!

Keep us posted John.

I was there this weekend and Donna did not mention anything. She took my reservations for the winter storage. Do you think this is a problem now or do I need to find somewhere else to store the boat? Not dealing with SPBM anymore.

Anything new on this? Wayne (I assume)has the whole strip on the north end of Patsy's cleared out. That's a big piece for Patsy's to lose for storage. Sure hope they (Patsy's)are the successful buyers of Belle Harbour.

The good news is that it looks as if he (Wayne) has cleaned up a garbage dump. The place is looking a lot better with that eyesore gone. Now maybe it will give some incentive to Patsy's to clean up a bit also..... This makes it better for all of us, and our guests....

No one's talking that I can find.

Just guesses and some interesting ones at that!

I hear Patsy's will have plenty of room for winter storage. Not sure how to read this but that's what I was told first hand.

They are a really good yard, honest, and give personal attention for winter storage if anyone is looking for a place.

I was impressed with how they handled my boat.

I hope your right Jonathan and I agree with you 110%, excellent bunch of people at Patsy's.

I can guarantee you that the rumors that I bought it are 100% false!

Well something is happening over there. There is no fence between BH and Patsy's. Latest rumor was Wayne owned the parcel of land between BH and Patsy's and wont let them join their 2 lots. They have that lot cleared out but NO boats on it.

Patsy's bought Belle Harbor. I know this from a phone call with Jimmy over at Patsy's.

I'm glad it worked out for them.

Now they have a nice lot and some room to work with.

HUH?

The parcel of land that is cleared out is between Patsy's and SPBM. Belle Harbor is south of Patsy's.

Heh - I said latest rumor.

Anyways my boat is there on land. The party is over.

We are thinking of making the move north to haverstraw/stony point next season. My buddy has been at Patsy's and came down to Cornetta's with me. He liked it a lot, but was looking to see what else was around. Piermont is so close to home, but it doesn't have the atmosphere we are looking for. We met a handful of people that are great, but most people went to the marina to go out on the boat for 2 hours and were gone. I think 75% of the boats didnt move. Plus you can walk out to the channel 2 hours before and after low tide, and not get the bottom of your shorts wet. We winter the boat at PBM, and we need more water and atmosphere for the admiral. The one thing we have to get over is a 20 min drive goes to 45-55min.

A little bird told me that Patsy's Bay will close on Belle Harbor tomrrow..
