Best quite high volume water pump? FRESH WATER

My pump is getting old it still works just fine but I would like to change it before if breaks. I would like to get a pump that has more pressure and is quite, my current pump is so load it's obnoxious!
Sorry I should have made this more clear this is for my fresh water pressure pump NOT a bilge pump, funny I knew exactly what I was thinking

I think it is current;y a Flojet I will check when I'm there today. It is loud and doesn't seem to have enough of an output to supply the size of the boat and amount of faucets on board.

I put in the jabsco 3695 part number 369502000 probably 8-10years ago and it works great. I also have an accumulator tank in the system. Relatively quiet and great pressure.

Assuming you re looking at a DC pump, i find them all a bit loud but mounting is really important to limit the vibrations. Try moving it to a stronger heavier surface it will make a big difference.

If taste you re considering an AC pump, the headhunter Mach 5 is hard to beat, super quiet and tons of flow... But pricey.

Some years ago, I wired a 12V DC Windshield wiper motor to a "Toilet" float for a switch.
I had a large Steel cable from the Motor to a Washing machine pump.

It pumped so much water, so far, I had to put a Deflector on the output to keep from spraying the neighbors boat!

Make sure you go with the accumulator tank. It makes a HUGE difference with regard to pump cycling.

I do not have an accumulator tank however many of the new pumps claim that they are not needed.

If there is no accumulator tank (of some sort) the pump cycles frequently. We have a galley maid with a stand alone pressure switch that lets me set the low pressure turn on and the high pressure turn off. We frequently use water without the pump coming on. This saves on pump wear and tear. I am going to say go with the accumulator tank based on this article:
