Better late than never!

The problem is they renumbered the slips which caused a lot of confusion for everybody. It wasn't done out with bad intent simply didn't work out the way the planned. When they signed new contracts I suspect they didn't realize they were reissuing the same slip twice.

I still say they will work this out and not to worry. Speak to Wayne Jr not Stuart, He has the power to make things right.

Someone on G dock was moving to another slip until the rented it to someone else? I think they need to write things down to remember.

Did they renumber G dock as well?

It was a member who has been here for a while and he spoke to the office before the season started, but they still filled it. And I don't think they renumbered G dock.

Mike I was in the office today and heard that your slip situation has been resolved. I was glad to hear things worked out for you.

That's news to me. I haven't spoke with them since Monday and that's when they wanted me to go next to my old slip. Any details, because if they think some vaseline and a shoehorn is a solution they have another thing coming.

i think i saw a movie about that

When I was in the office they told me that the boat that is in your slip is in the wrong slip and that you were going back where you were. You really should call them to confirm, D dock is full so there wont be room to move once everyone is in. Just call Wayne and tell him you spoke to me and you want to confirm, Stuart was there as well and they both assured me that you were going to be back where you where.

And we all know that if Wayne says it then it must be true!

His name is and was on the board in what I believe to be the right slip. I have not had an issue to this day I'm sorry if you have but I have been given no reason to assume the worst. For the record there have been quit a few new boats come to the marina there are no empty slip on D dock anymore. Don't know about G dock.

And how many of those "new" boats moved over from the Willow Cove part of the marina? More than 1, that's for sure. OOPS!!! :)

The marina has gained more customers then it has lost. maybe not many but they are up several new boats.

I'm sure you're right Dave but don't forget that when 15% of a marina's docks are condemned as non-insurable due to disrepair and you have to move all those boats to other slips things can get a bit congested at other docks.

As an attempt to get back on topic, anyone else taking off and enjoying this beautiful day out on the water searching for that elusive fish or sucking up some sun? Since Sunday looks a bit iffy we decided to finally put 2 sunny days in a row by coming down to the boat last night and starting the weekend early.

Rommer, I am at work but leaving early....hoping to put my boat in...assuming the two next to me go in first.

Unfortunately not going to be ambe to make it this weekend <sigh>, have to do some additional staging to sell the house...

Good luck with selling. We are in contract on our house and a new one as well. Anticipated closing date 6/4. We sold our house in 2 weeks. There are buyers out there, and the inventory is not huge so I think it's a good time to sell at a reasonable price and an excellent time to buy.

I'll be down Sunday monring and hopefully be back in my old slip (according to Wayne Jr.). I need to do some clean up and mount my radar on the arch.

Hopefully see a few of you then.
