Hi, I had these folks paint the bottom of my 54' Sea Ray in mid May. They offered a "special" primer and paint on the running gear that was supposed to work better than prop speed. (I've had prop speed applied for the previous 4 years and was happy, but thought I'd try their recommendation).
The short of it is we went to Lucaya the week after I got the boat back from Hidden Harbor. While snorkeling in Lucaya, I noticed that most if not all of the primer and paint on the rudders and props had peeled away as though it was never there.
I have since called Thomas, (The manager) twice and left messages and an e-mail with no response. Today as I drove past I noticed the property is now for sale.
I think I was duped by their BS :(
BTW, I've had good experiences with Cable Marine and Pompano Marine Max, it's just that Hidden Harbor was so close to my home.

I hope this was a fluke and if you use them you'll have a better outcome. To me, it's just a distasteful experience of lousy service.

Steve, I had my bottom cleaned and painted at Hidden Harbor Jan.2007. Lots of growth and Barnicles on metal parts now. Was able to get 2/3 years when work done at Cable or PlayBoy.
To bad, as you said HH is close to home. Im on 14th st canal.

in all fairness, your boat has been sitting which makes growth worst, especially in a canal...

We had work done at Harbor Towne in Dania, on the Johnson 70 before i took her north last month, I was very impressed by that yard. They did a good job, price was fair and on time. Yard managers were really on top of things and their crew. I spent a lot of time there during the week the boat was on the hard and i could tell it's a well managed place.
